Ed supports the Center’s data philanthropy initiatives, working closely with our internal and external partners on data grants, supports building out our new data fellows program, managing data projects based on Mastercard and open-source data to glean insights on inclusive growth and overseeing our internal data volunteer program. He joins the Center from Mastercard Advisors, having spent more than five years with the Data and Analytics group.

In this capacity, he turned Mastercard transaction data into products that provided useful insights for the MA internal consulting group as well as merchant partners in the airline and retail industries. Prior to Mastercard, Ed worked at American Express, Morgan Stanley and UBS. At American Express, he was involved in the field of Data Privacy as a Certified Information Privacy Professional.

Ed has a Master’s degree from Columbia University in Statistics and B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Mechanical Engineering.
