Knowledge Partnerships
Erica Matsumoto joins the Center for Inclusive Growth as the Director of Knowledge Partnerships. In this role, Erica will continue to execute on the Center’s mission to develop thought leadership partnerships across the team’s portfolio to advance equitable and sustainable economic growth, helping to further bridge research to action with the Center’s stakeholders
Prior to joining Mastercard, Erica was the Director of Partnerships & New Initiatives at the NYC Media Lab, a university consortium housed within NYU, and developed interdisciplinary emerging tech and innovation partnerships between researchers and industry. She also previously worked at the NYC Economic Development Corporation as Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff and created mission-aligned public-private partnerships to develop NYC’s economy and workforce inclusively and equitably.
Previously, Erica served as a Peace Corps volunteer specializing in community and economic development in El Salvador.
Erica holds a graduate degree in public policy from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Haverford College. Erica is based in New York City.
