Lisa Richman has been appointed Director, Social Impact for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA). In her new capacity within the Center for Inclusive Growth, Lisa will partner with Dimi and the EEMEA leadership and key teams across the business to drive forward inclusive growth in the region.

Lisa’s priorities include a significant portfolio of small business growth programs in the region including new initiatives launching in 2022, that drive digitalization of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in Sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia. In addition, Lisa will oversee the new $20M partnership with the Mastercard Foundation in Uganda and share relationship management of the Mastercard Foundation with Leslie Meek-Wohl.

Lisa joined the Center’s IMK Social Impact team in 2020.  Over the last 18 months, she has played a critical role in a variety of programs across IMK including the creation of a new social impact program in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan under Strive Community.  Prior to joining the Center, Lisa spent five years in Market Development working on account management and business development for the UK, Nordic and Icelandic customers. 

Lisa holds an MSc in International Business from Kings College London and a BA in Sociology from Nottingham University, UK.
