Like many corporate social responsibility initiatives, the Center’s impact model utilized philanthropic capital to support its mission, but unlike conventional programs, the Center also leveraged the company’s data, technology, expertise, and other assets. In this way, the Center developed a private-sector “doing well by doing good” approach that aligned business and impact strategies to address global challenges and complement business opportunities.
