Data for Equity (D4E), a program launched by the Centre for Public Impact and Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, is a collaborative learning community of city governments working together to close wealth and opportunity gaps. The program brings together chief equity, technology and data officers from across the U.S. focused on equitable and inclusive growth and looking to bring data and tools into their decision-making processes. This report reflects learnings from the first D4E cohort, consisting of eight cities (Atlanta, Baltimore, Birmingham, Dayton, Louisville, Salt Lake City, St. Louis and Tampa), and includes a tools playbook for any city to bring the tools and learnings to their work.
