data.org, the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South Asia announced $6.8 million in funding from Wellcome in support of the data.org-led Capacity Accelerator Network (CAN). With this grant, new accelerators will be established in Sub-Saharan Africa and India to equip emerging data professionals with the skills needed to work at the intersection of climate and health.
