The Small Firm Diaries followed the financial lives of 161 small businesses in Nigeria for one year. Some findings from this study reveal that in Nigeria (1) 99% of small firm owners have a bank account but less than 50% use it frequently, and (2) 79% say access to finance is a barrier.
