The Center for Financial Inclusion convenes Financial Inclusion Week each year and invites partner organizations to showcase work, share ideas on what's ahead, and engage with the community. In Latin America, 40% of all workers are independent workers and micro- to mid-sized entrepreneurs account for 99.5% of all firms, the pandemic and ongoing global economic challenges are devastating. This session features the Center for Inclusive Growth's Luz Gomez, Vice President of Social Impact for Latin America & the Caribbean, and outlines key challenges facing gig workers in Latin America, and identifies behavioral strategies and interventions best suited to resolve them.
