In November 2018, the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and Accion launched the MSE accelerator program (MAP) to digitally transform financial service providers, benefiting 12.8 million people, including 5.6 million MSEs. The study assesses the impact of digital transformation on MSE owners' quality of life, financial health and business growth, incorporating new 2023 survey data alongside earlier findings from MSEs in Ecuador, Guatemala, India and Nigeria.
