After following small firms (1-20 employees) in Nigeria for one year to understand their financial lives in detail, this report shares findings and takeaways, including that small firms (1) represent an "invisible middle" different from microenterprises and larger firms, straddling the line between formal and informal, and (2) are seeking growth, but with stability.
