This study aimed to reshape diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) perspectives and assess U.S. workplace equity, revealing that among 1062 organizations, 64% prioritize DEI while 62% allocate minimal resources to fostering inclusive participation and fair treatment in their workforce. The authors suggest employers can rectify inequities across 10 "employment systems," such as recruitment, training and career development, and performance assessment and feedback.
