Social Impact, Americas
Jonathan leads our Americas team in developing and executing the Center’s strategy, partnerships, thought leadership and grant-making initiatives across the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Most recently, Jonathan served as Executive Director of the Partnership for Central America, where he led the implementation of an economic development strategy that mobilized $5.2 billion in foreign direct investments and social programs supporting 20 million families and 100 businesses.
Previously, Jonathan was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in the U.S. and Latin America, advising financial services clients globally. His government experience includes serving as Chairman of the U.S. Export-Import Bank’s Energy Investment and Finance Committee; Senior Advisor on international economic security policy to the President-elect of the United States; economic and national security aide in the White House and U.S. Congress; and Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
He is a graduate of Georgetown and Harvard universities.
